English teaching in schools

This covers all of those confusing abbreviations for teaching English abroad, including ESL , EFL, TESL, TEFL, and so on ('English as a Second Language', 'English as a Foreign Language', 'Teaching English as a Secondary Languages', 'Teaching English as a Foreign Language' respectively).

There is a strong demand for teachers in Taiwan. These jobs range from positions in high schools, to English cram schools (aka 'bushibans'), to kindergartens, to adult business schools, and more. Private tutoring

Tutoring private students is very different from school teaching because you will probably have to plan your own lessons, choose your books, and then teach one on one.
